The Campus Kitchen at GU utilizes student/young adult volunteer leaders to distribute meals around Spokane. The food is recovered primarily from on-campus Sodexho dining services, as well as from the Second Harvest food bank and Feed Spokane.
We deliver meals to 10 client agencies, including: St. Margaret's and the OMalley House (both organized by the Catholic Charities organization), Monday night SNAP dinner at St. Anne's for homeless families, Thursday night SNAP Sack Dinner, Campus Kids and Shaw Connection (youth mentoring programs for at risk you), American Indian Community Center, the Spokane AIDS Network, Crosswalk, and the YWCA.
